Notice of Annual General Meeting 2025

Notice of Annual General Meeting 2025

This year’s Aikido Victoria Annual General Meeting (AGM) will be held in-person, after training on Saturday, August 24th (approximately 4:00pm). Unfortunately, due to lack of technical resources, we cannot offer an option to attend virtually.

Details of the training will be announced closer to the date.

Due to changes in the way Not For Profit organisations must report to the ATO, a change to the Aikido Victoria constitution has been proposed.

Details of the proposed change are included in the notice of AGM.To read and consider the proposed changes, please download the full notice.

You do not have to train on the day to attend the AGM, but it is encouraged. Please distribute this notice so that all current members have at least 21 days’ notice of our AGM.

Minutes from the 2024 AGM and the Committee Members’ Report have been sent to current members’ registered email addresses on the Aiki Kai Australia membership database. If you have not received them, please contact us and we will send you a copy.

Limited seats are available, and we ask that a few be reserved for the people who are presenting at the AGM.

Please also note that proof of a negative RAT result on the day will still be required, even if you are only attending the AGM.

As usual, our volunteers will greatly appreciate it if you can do your test before coming, as this will let us get underway as promptly as possible.
