Aikido Victoria is compliant with Child Safe Standards in Victoria. The standards were significantly updated in July 2022. It is the law and there are significant fines for non-compliance.
These training modules form part of Aikido Victoria’s commitment to ensuring that all people in the Aikido Victoria community are informed, and involved in promoting Child Safety and wellbeing. Taking part in ongoing training and education provided by Aikido Victoria is a part of the Code of Conduct signed by all members.
In this way, we are offering instructors, assistant instructors and adult students with the knowledge, skills and awareness to keep students under the age of 18 safe through ongoing education and training.
